Sometimes you can't tell the screen is damaged until the television is turned on and the screen is lit. We have found that cracked and broken TV screens are not worth pursuing. The screen is impossible to repair, impractical to replace, and by far the most expensive part of the television. Most manufacturers won't sell just the screen, and if they do, the total repair bill often exceeds the price of a brand new television. If the screen is cracked or broken, we do recommend you buy a new television.
