Most modern televisions depend on a series of LEDs to light up the screen. Backlight failure is a common problem with LED televisions. No picture, dark picture, the screen may flash on for a moment, blink, or strobe. The picture can have bright spots, dark areas, or start looking blue. If the picture goes out, you may be able to see the image using a flashlight. Most backlight issues can be repaired for less than you think.
